Salvation Army Still Needs Bell Ringers

If you have some free time, and help out a non-profit, the Salvation Army is looking for your help.

According to our news partner KSNT, the Topeka Salvation Army says they are in need of bell ringers for the holiday season. Their “Red Kettle Campaign” starts next week and they only have nine spots filled. They are needing 56 more people to help out.

Here are some of the safety procedures they are taking according to the article:

“A few things will be changed to this year’s campaign. They plan on taking on new protocols such as wiping down the buckets, wearing disposable aprons, and offering contactless pay like ApplePay and GooglePay”.

If you like to help out, you will need to apply at the Topeka Salvation Army headquarters. That is located at 1320 SE 6th Ave. Two forms of I.D. are needed, so make sure you bring them with you.
