- I was born and raised in Garden City, Kansas.
- I am a lifelong Kansas resident, having lived in Garden City, Emporia, and now Topeka!
- I have two cats. Both Girls, Soni and Lizzy. {Pics HERE}
- Soni is 15 years old. I have had her since she was six weeks old.
- Lizzy is a rescuer cat. When I got her, she was a year old. I taught her how to high five.
- I play drums. I started playing in middle school.
- I have been a country music fan for as long as I can remember. The first concert I remember going to was George Strait opening for Loretta Lynn at the Kansas State Fair in 1984. {Yes. George played the fair… TWICE!}
- Most of my favorite movies are Adam Sandler movies. I randomly, frequently, quote lines from ‘Big Daddy’, ’50 First Dates’, and ‘Mr. Deeds’ in conversation.
- My senior year of high school, I joined a band with my Dad and two of my uncles. My Dad and uncles are identical twins, so the band was named Twin Country. We played classic country to 90’s country cover songs.
- I once drove in a demolition derby. I lasted a whole 20 seconds before the car stalled out.
- I have three siblings. One sister and two brothers.
- I also have three nieces, ranging from age 2 to age 22.
- The first concert I saved up my own money to purchase was to see Garth Brooks on the ‘No Fences’ tour in 1991.
- My favorite country artists are George Strait, Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, and Eric Church.
- If I could play an instrument besides drums, I would choose a guitar.
