Joey Irsik Has Been Challenged By Sean Kelly To Participate In The Polar Plunge

Normally, the chances of finding me walking into a lake of icy cold water would be pretty slim. On Saturday, February 2nd at Lake Shawnee, I will be part of my first ever Polar Plunge.

I have been challenged by Sean Kelly from the Majic 107.7 morning show to see whether he or I can have the biggest team and to see who can help raise the most most money for Special Olympics Kansas. I’m not one to shy away from a challenge, especially one for a good cause.

The goal for this year’s Special Olympics Kansas Polar Plunge is to raise $26,500. All of money raised at the Polar Plunge will stay in Topeka to help fund the Special Olympics Kansas State Basketball Tournament in Topeka on March 23rd and 24th.

I invite you to join me on the 1029 NASH Icon team for this year’s Polar Plunge so we can show Sean and the Majic 107.7 team how much 1029 NASH Icon listeners love participating in a good cause for their fellow Topekans!
