Hogs And Horses Poker Run Celebrates Four Years Of Philanthropy

2018 marks the fourth year of the annual Hogs and Horses Poker Run.  On Saturday September 29th, bikers from Topeka and surrounding communities will convene at the Hope and Healing Academy barn and then make their way to five stops at local biker-friendly bars in the area. Tickets are sold for raffle items throughout the ride, and the event ends at Breakers, with a BBQ dinner and live music from the band Evolution.

Registration begins 12 pm at Hope and Healing Academy 10437 SW 53rd St.  Ride begins 2 pm with poker run stops at five locations ending at Breakers at 8249 SW 10th Ave.  Those who wish to join us at Breakers  after the ride for BBQ, raffles and live music at 7 pm are welcome with free-will donation.  Cost is $25 per bike with day of or on-line registration available.For more information, call 785-817-6037. To pre-register, click here, then click the ‘Donate’ Button and specify “Hogs & Horses” along with t-shirt size.

Hope and Healing Academy (HAHA) is an equine-facilitated psychotherapy program in Topeka, KS. Licensed psychotherapists work alongside riding instructors, horse handlers, and horses to bring hope and healing to clients of all ages and backgrounds.
